Welcome!! Another fun-filled school year has started here at New Dimensions Learning Center and as always, there is never a dull moment!! Thanks to everyone for helping to make our 2010 Summer program a huge success! The school year is off to a busy and exciting start in the VPK classrooms. Ms. Whitney, Ms. Lillian, Ms. Aisha, and Ms. Audrey want to welcome all children to our classrooms and give a special warm welcome to all of our newcomers to New Dimensions!! It is great to see all of the children’s bright, smiling faces, ready for fun and eager to learn!! We sure hope to see everyone at our Open House Night on Wednesday, September 1st at 7:00pm. You will receive valuable information about your child’s upcoming VPK experience and dinner will also be served during the event! As a reminder, please be aware that the VPK school day begins promptly at 9:00am so please be sure your child is here on time in order to experience a fulfilling school day. Also, Please be sure to check your child’s folder at the end of each day, this is important to maintain communication between the teacher and families on what we are doing in the classroom each day. Additionally, please be sure that your child’s cubby has what they need: a small blanket, fitted sheet, extra clothes, and other necessities. Please keep other items to a minimum so that everything fits in their cubby. Here are some exciting events that are planned for this month: * Sept 1st Open house *Sept 6th Labor Day ~ Center Closed * Sept 13th Grandparents Day--all grandparents are invited to have milk and cookies for snack! *Sept 18th Fun Nite 5-9pm *Sept 21st PAB meeting 5-6pm@NDLC *Sept 22nd First day of fall * Sept 24th Trike-A-Thon (Helmets are required for your child to ride) If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak with your child’ s teacher.
